Goodbye HR – Hello Value Orchestration

Agility in HR SIG

The CHRO role is outdated – enter the Chief Value Orchestration Officer (CVOO).

We all know that the world of work has changed significantly over the past 10 years. This means the position titles of Chief Human Resources Officer, or Chief People Officer, no longer explain the true nature of this role and function. Work is now not only delivered through full-time employees – but rather through a curated mix of full-time equivalents (FTEs), Contingent Workers, Ecosystem Partners and Automation. This is where the proposed title of Chief Value Orchestration Officer comes in. This role is accountable for, inter alia,:

Facilitating – with business – the design of a target operating model that highlights how value is created, delivered and supported – horizontally and vertically

Facilitating – with business – the design of a value delivery model that highlights how value is created, delivered and supported through the execution of work

Facilitating – with business – who will be best positioned to deliver this work – FTEs, Contingent Workers, Ecosystem Partners and/or Bots

Orchestrating the delivery of value through ensuring that FTEs, Contingent Workers, Ecosystem Partners and/or Bots synchronise in harmony

In this Agility in HR SIG discussion we will explore the new approaches that may be required for traditional HR areas such as:

  • organisation architecture
  • success management
  • employee experience
  • reward & recognition
  • learning & development
  • ecosystem contracting
  • talent management

Join us to explore a new way of thinking and doing.

Let’s create together!
