Although the advantages of agile project management have been proven in the IT industry, this method has hardly been used in the construction industry, and its applicability has not been studied. In this session, the suitability of agile management to be adopted by the construction industry will be explored. Then, the characteristics and benefits of agile for the construction industry will be analysed. Finally, a case study of implementing agile for a sustainable building design project will be presented. The case study will highlight the opportunities and challenges of adopting agile management for construction projects.
