As we draw to the close of 2025, it’s a good moment to pause and reflect on what has been a busy and exciting year for the Consortium. From launching new initiatives to deepening our engagement with members, partners, and communities, we’ve made progress across many fronts, and there’s plenty to celebrate.
New Membership and Learning Opportunities
This year we launched a refreshed membership proposition, designed to bring even more value to our community. While we continue to refine this offer, members can already enjoy access to a range of new on-demand learning content on our Learning Experience Platform, including sessions on Exploring Critical Thinking and Making Sense of OKRs, KSFs and KPIs. These resources are part of our ongoing commitment to provide practical insights that support agile thinking and practice.
Strengthening Partnerships
Our partnerships remain central to what we do, and 2025 has seen more meaningful engagement with our ADPs, Alirity, Ontario, Catalyst, and Agile Sherpas. By focusing on mutual value and shared goals, we’ve been able to collaborate in ways that enrich our community and extend the reach of our organisations.
Certified Products and Frameworks
The new version of AgilePM, delivered in collaboration with our partner APMG, has been well received in the market, and work has now begun on updating AgileBA. These products continue to act as vehicles for embedding business agility across organisations, drawing on the Framework for Business Agility as a golden thread.
Growing Communities and Ambassadors
Our communities continue to grow and become more engaged, and we’ve established a new Ambassador Group to champion agile thinking and connect members across sectors. These spaces offer opportunities for discussion, learning, and sharing good practice, and the energy within them has been inspiring.
Thought Leadership and Insights
Our Business Agility Think Tank has produced some excellent content this year, including whitepapers on Governance in the Agile Organisation and A.I. in the Agile Workplace.
Key Insights from the 2025 Report
The 2025 Insights Report highlighted how organisations are practising business agility around the world. Key themes included the importance of adaptive capability over rigid frameworks, integrating AI thoughtfully, focusing on value rather than activity, and designing culture and leadership intentionally. It also reinforced the role of supporting functions, governance, and ecosystem-wide collaboration in enabling agility.
You can explore all 12 highlights from the report here.
Events and Content Highlights
2025 saw 26 online events, including our two-day Agile Business Awards & Conference, which celebrated organisations making a real impact through agility. Members also benefitted from new podcasts, articles, blogs, and whitepapers, offering a rich mix of practical guidance and strategic insight.
Sharpened Strategic Focus
We’ve been sharpening our strategic focus this year, so our community can expect to see more clarity and direction in the coming months. Our aim is to ensure that every initiative, resource, and interaction brings tangible value and practical insight to those we serve.
Team Updates
This year has brought a number of changes to our team. We’ve welcomed several new members whose experience and skills are helping us drive momentum and future-proof the Consortium. At the same time, we have said goodbye to a few long-standing colleagues.
We would particularly like to acknowledge Andrew Craddock, who has been central to the development and evolution of our products and a member of the Consortium team over the past 25 years. As one of the original authors and Product Owner for AgilePM, Andrew’s vision and dedication laid the foundation for what has become our flagship offering. His work has shaped generations of agile practitioners and continues to influence our products and practices today.
We also thank Peter Coesmans, whose four years as Chief Agility Officer saw the launch of our annual Agile Business Awards & Conference and the evolution of the Framework for Business Agility, and Jason Wright, who stepped down from the executive team after several years helping guide our culture and leadership initiatives.
Finally, we extend our gratitude to Ed Holt, who stepped down from the Board this year. Ed has been involved with the Consortium since its inception, having had the original idea to form it. His support and input have helped shape our future direction as we continue to evolve and serve our community.
We wish all of them the very best in their next chapters and thank them for their contributions.
Momentum and Looking Ahead
Finally, we are delighted to have launched our new member magazine, Momentum, providing a regular window into the latest thinking, insights, and stories from across the Consortium. The title feels particularly fitting as we approach the new year — a reminder of the energy, focus, and forward motion we bring into 2026.
As 2025 closes, we are energised by what we’ve achieved together, and we look forward to building on this progress in the year ahead. Thank you to every member, partner, and colleague who has contributed to making this a meaningful and impactful year — we couldn’t do it without you.
Here’s to a 2026 filled with curiosity, collaboration, and continued growth.
