About the course

Knowing what agile leadership is and doing it well are two different things. This course is for leaders who are ready to move from understanding the principles to applying them in the messy reality of modern work, where conditions shift, decisions are urgent, and the right call is rarely the obvious one.

You’ll take a deeper look at the practices that define effective agile leaders, from leading decision-making in complex environments to supporting organizational transformation. You’ll explore how to build people-centric cultures through psychological safety, action logics and the skills of active listening and questioning. And you’ll reflect on your own leadership journey to identify where to focus next.

The course is grounded in the Consortium’s Nine Principles of Agile Leadership, our published framework for what great agile leadership looks like in practice. You’ll explore how each principle applies in your own context, and use them to identify your strengths and the areas where you want to grow further. On completion, you’ll earn a certificate endorsed by the Agile Business Consortium to add to your professional portfolio.
