About the course

AgileBA® gives you the skills, tools and techniques to do business analysis well when requirements move, timelines compress and certainty arrives late. It covers the whole arc: framing the problem, shaping and prioritizing requirements, guiding delivery, then validating that the outcome was worth having.

Version 3 shifts the emphasis from producing outputs to proving value. It brings product thinking and strategic alignment into the core of the role, so you can trace a line from organizational strategy through customer need to the thing your team is building this week. It also addresses working alongside AI honestly: what to delegate to it, what stays with human judgement, and how to keep accountability and evidence intact when analysis gets faster.

AgileBA works alongside other agile and project qualifications. Many practitioners hold AgileBA and AgilePM together, which gives them the full picture of how agile projects run and where business analysis carries the weight.

What’s new in version 3?

  • Value over volume. The framing question throughout is whether you are creating the right value for the right people, not whether the backlog is moving.
  • Product thinking built in. Techniques for continuous discovery, not just up-front analysis.
  • Strategy to delivery. Explicit methods for connecting organizational intent to the work in front of you.
  • AI-enabled analysis. How to use AI tools without surrendering judgement, accountability or the evidence trail.

What you will learn

Value, outcomes and strategic alignment

Trace a clear line from organizational strategy to the work sitting in front of your team, then evidence the outcome it produced. Version 3 puts value realization at the centre of the role rather than at the end of it.

Framing and prioritizing the work

Validate the problem before anyone commits to a solution, then elicit, model and manage requirements across the full lifecycle using MoSCoW prioritization and incremental delivery.

Stakeholder engagement and facilitation

Build the collaboration and leadership skills that make agile business analysis work in real organizations, where the right conversation matters as much as the right technique.

Modern analysis techniques, including AI

Apply user research, process modelling and value mapping in fast-moving environments, and use AI to speed up your analysis without giving up human judgement or the evidence behind your decisions.
