What does Performance Management look like for organisations adopting agile ways of working?
In today's world most of us are ‘knowledge workers’ who cannot be evaluated according to how many products we deliver per unit of time. Instead, it is the quality of our ability to innovate that becomes important. This makes performance management very different to the early industrial age where efficient production was stimulated by command and control management.
"How can we now inspire and empower high performance and reward appropriately?"
"How can we reconcile the need for collaboration and teamwork with fair compensation for each individual?"
In this event, run by our Agility in HR Special Interest group, our panel will invite discussion around critical questions such as:
- Does annual goal-setting have any place in today’s workplace?
- How do we deliver meaningful performance feedback that triggers development and growth?
- How can we best map behaviours to talent development and compensation?
- How should salary relate to performance?
These are all important issues, and key to how organisations adapt to meet the shifting needs of the digital era. When people are given the freedom to reach their full potential, amazing things happen.
Learning Outcomes:
- Help bridge the gap between HR and Agility
- Help shape the Agile HR Special Interest Group
- Join the conversation, share, learn, address challenges together
- Network and meet others with similar interests
