About the course
The AgilePM v3 Conversion Course is built for existing AgilePM-certified practitioners who want to upgrade to the latest version of the framework. In one day of focused training, you’ll get up to speed with what’s new in v3 and prepare for the AgilePM3 Foundation exam.
Rather than going back to first principles, the course assumes you already understand AgilePM and concentrates on what’s changed. You’ll cover the integration of Scrum into the framework, the shifts in focus from process to people and from output to outcome, and the enhancements that make AgilePM v3 better suited to multi-team projects and modern delivery environments.
With around 2–3 hours of pre-course reading and a single day of training, the conversion route gives you the latest certification without having to redo what you already know.
What’s new in AgilePM v3
AgilePM v3 brings the framework into closer alignment with modern agile delivery. Here’s what’s changed since v2.
Scrum integrated into AgilePM
V3 introduces Scrum as the delivery engine for AgilePM, including Scrum roles and events. The two frameworks now work together rather than separately.
Focus shifts
Three meaningful changes in emphasis: from process to people, from management to leadership, and from output to outcome. Small shifts in language, big shifts in practice.
Scaling to multi-team projects
V3 introduces clearer guidance for scaling AgilePM to projects involving multiple teams, with practical tools for coordination and alignment.
Risk management integration
Risk management is now woven into the AgilePM approach rather than sitting alongside it, giving project managers a more cohesive way to manage uncertainty throughout the project lifecycle.

The Conversion Course is built for anyone who already holds an AgilePM certification at Foundation or Practitioner level and wants to bring their knowledge up to date.
