Neil Walker
A Professional Level 4 Member of the Agile Business Consortium, Neil is a seasoned business agility strategist, product leader, and transformation advisor with over 30 years of experience driving meaningful change across industries. His career has followed an intentionally unconventional path, spanning engineering, delivery, leadership, and enterprise coaching.
An early pioneer of Agile thinking, Neil was handpicked in the early 1990s, long before the Agile Manifesto, to help NatWest Bank exploit lightweight software development approaches. Since then, he has championed Agile not just as a delivery method, but as a systemic enabler, helping organisations from social care to financial services embed agility beyond IT.
Neil is the creator of the CIRCA Model, a practical, human-centred approach to navigating complexity, uncertainty, and constant change. His models are now used by leaders to build adaptive, resilient organizations. His work blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to enable real change where it matters most. He is currently incorporating these insights into his forthcoming book, Ingenious Agility.
