The Adaptable Organisation
In this webinar, Jeremy Renwick, CxO of Agilesphere, talks to the Consortium’s Jenny Bailey about the changing nature of organisations – introducing the concept of the Adaptable Organisation (previously Minimum Viable Organisation or MVO).
Acknowledging that Agile working is now spreading far beyond the IT areas of an organisation, he talks about the challenges caused by conflicts with functions that may still be working in a traditional way. “The key is to get people focusing on end value” he highlights.
Jenny and Jeremy discuss how the workplace is changing, and the constraining impact of traditional functional silos on an Agile approach. “We need new mental models,” Jeremy suggests, “We need to work in a new way now, but what tends to happen is that we revert to the old ways as soon as we’re under pressure or under stress.”
You can find out more about the theory and the practice behind the Adaptive Organisation in this one hour webinar. Listen to the audio, see the slides, and download the picture book below.
