Despite (and perhaps because of) the myriad pressures on business performance, the competition for employee talent goes on, and the future will belong to those organisations that acquire and retain the skills and talents of Generation Agile. That ‘naturally agile’ cohort holds the key to innovation and success – and they approach their vocation with a mindset and behaviours that are different from any workforce that has gone before.
At the Agile Business Consortium, we are working to bridge the gap between Generation Agile and businesses around the globe, helping organisations craft their culture to attract the naturally agile, and capitalise on future top talent.
The median age of employees in the Western world is 42. Yet, Millennials and Gen Z already account for 38 percent of the workforce – by 2030, that figure will grow to 58 percent, making Generation Agile the dominant force in the workplace.
The time is now for you develop the agile environment Generation Agile needs to thrive – and to ensure that you thrive.
