The “Agile Wars” and how to avoid them

Agile is becoming more and more popular, and the basic concepts of Agile are quite simple to understand. But when adopting Agile into an organisation, it is also important to understand what options are available; it is never a case of “one size fits all” and there are dozens of Agile approaches to choose from.

Agile in a complex technical product-based organisation will be different to Agile to support comprehensive change programmes, which may be less about IT and more about business change.

Why choose one approach when the optimum approach is to blend several Agile approaches to address complex needs?

This presentation provides some basic unbiased information about the pros and cons of the most popular Agile approaches, and provides some real-life examples of the impact of making the wrong choices.

Having this basic information will help decision-makers ask the right questions to ensure they get an Agile solution that meets the needs of their organisation.
