PMO Conference 2018

13 June 2018

Location: London

Time: 9:00 - 17:00

Duration: 1 Day

The Agile Business Consortium will be sponsoring and presenting at the PMO Conference 2018.

The PMO Conference is curated and designed for the PMO practitioner. Focused on portfolio, programme and project offices, this one-day conference is all about learning more about your chosen profession. From a full programme of PMO expert speakers, a dedicated PMO exhibition full of PMO products and services and time to network with new PMO contacts or reconnect with friends and ex-colleagues, the day is 100% PMO focused.

Governance, Agile and the PMO – Building a relationship that works

The presentation will provide some basic positioning of PMOs and Agile projects. It will then explore what is needed to build a good working relationship from the start, based on some real-life examples. It will also talk about how to make full use of Agile’s transparency to build effective communication between the Agile teams and the PMO, and the PMO and senior stakeholders.

Key takeaways:

  1. Confidence that Agile, Governance and PMO can work effectively together
  2. An understanding of what is needed to build good relationships with Agile teams
  3. A better understanding of “grown up” Agile in a complex organisation
