PMexpo 2017 was held in Rome on 27 October, and attracted a phenomenal 1000 delegates from across Europe and beyond. The Consortium’s Chair, Geof Ellingham, presented a talk on Agile Digital Services (AgileDS) and participated throughout the day.

The Consortium’s growing overseas presence

Talking about the Consortium’s growing overseas presence, Geof commented: “Being a part of PMexpo in Rome was a valuable opportunity to share stories and experiences with people working in other countries. Many were using the Consortium’s products and tools, such as AgilePM, and were keen to learn how they could become more involved in future developments. Some of those I met were working in digital services for government in Italy and were interested in how we’ve been aligning AgileDS to the UK Government Digital Services guidance.

“The value of these international events is really high, and they demonstrate how countries can learn from and benefit from one another’s experience."

Other speakers at PMexpo included Dr David Hillson, and Robert Rasmussen who worked for the LEGO Group from 1988 to 2001 as head of R&D for LEGO Education, and was the main architect of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY.

The Consortium is extending its presence in Italy through its International Community Group, which is currently run by two International Ambassadors, Simone Onofri and Claudia Spagnuolo.
