AgileBA – An Agile approach to Business Analysis

A sketch drawing of a faceless man sitting at a desk shows clock on the right target with a bullseye on the bottom right chart on the top left and light bulb on the bottom left.AgileBA® is designed to offer valuable direction for all business analysts involved in an Agile environment, and other Agile professionals who need business analysis skills.

This certification and qualification has been developed by the Agile Business Consortium, and training and examinations are offered through the global awarding body APMG International. This guidance provides the skills needed to successfully gather, analyse, validate and champion the requirements throughout an Agile project.

The Business Analyst is a critical role within an Agile project team. This guidance gives context to the Business Analyst role beyond the individual project, in relation to organisational processes, mission and strategy.

It complements the DSDM Agile Project Framework, which defines the role of the project based Business Analyst, in relation to business, development and testing roles at all levels.

The AgileBA handbook is the first comprehensive set of guidance, framework and practices for the Business Analyst working on an Agile project.
